How long will the assessment take?
Participants will have 60 minutes to complete the assessment. You are free to complete the assessment anywhere you have access to the internet.

What types of questions will be on the assessment?
Participants will be asked to complete a performance task within 30 minutes, where they will analyze information and provide a brief written response. Following the performance task, they will be given an additional 30 minutes to complete a set of 25 selected response items.

Who are CAE?
The Council for Aid to Education (CAE) is an internationally recognized expert in assessment development with extensive experience in both large scale assessments (K-12), as well as in individual Performance Learning Task (PLT) development. CAE has adopted the use of PLTs, scenario-based assessments designed to measure higher-order skills and competencies, to improve student learning outcomes.
